D-Capture Drill dust capture
Description
Dust capture, universal adaptor for any drill make or model. Will catch dust generated when drilling holes holes in gypsum, cement, wood,panels lined with asbestos, or any other potentially dangerous material.
Characteristics
Combined with a hollow punch accessory, the D-Capture will allow safe sampling of walls suspected of containing dangerous contaminants.
Usage
- To be used with a 12' drill bit. Stick the provided loop Velcro strip to the first fixed part following the chuck.
- Attach the blue sleeve Velcro to the loop Velcro on the drill. Thighten with the external Velcro strap.
- Hook-up the vaccum cleaner (preferably with a HEPA filter) to the rigid hose on the side of the D-Capture. Start the vacuum cleaner.
- Pull back the D-Capture in order to expose the drill bit. Apply the drill bit to the targeted surface.
- Release the handle. The vacuum suction will stick the D-Capture to the surface. You can now proceed with your drilling job.
